In 2023 I followed Anne Olivecrona on a daring mission to rescue 3 chimpanzees from a conflict zone in Central African Republic where we confiscated 3 chimps from a Libyan man who had one chained up to a tree for over 8 years. The mission takes many twists and turns with flight delays, weather, people getting bitten and chimps escaping from cages.
